Access Control Associate (Ages 18+) – Summer Seasonal Job

About the Job

Looking for a summer job that plays an important role in keeping the park safe and running smoothly? As an Access Control Associate at Enchanted Parks, you'll help manage guest and employee entry points, operate security screening equipment, and support a safe, welcoming park environment.

This role is a great fit for responsible young adults who are observant, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests in a fast‑paced setting.

What You'll Do

• Operate walk‑through metal detectors, handheld wands, and x‑ray screening equipment
• Monitor guest and employee entry and exit points
• Verify team member credentials and ensure proper access control
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, team members, and leadership
• Use radios and phones to stay in constant communication with the Public Safety team
• Work with other team members to maintain a safe and organized entry process
• Complete accurate reports and documentation when required
• Help keep assigned areas clean, orderly, and guest‑ready
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions throughout your shift
• Perform duties independently while following established safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Minimum age: 18
• Strong communication skills and a guest‑focused attitude
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Comfortable working around security screening equipment
• Basic computer and radio usage skills
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and professional in busy situations
• Reliable transportation to and from the park
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak summer dates
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail

Other Duties

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support Public Safety operations and overall park success.
