What You'll Do
Hiring & Onboarding Support

Help prepare and organize new hire paperwork and onboarding materials

Support new hire orientations and onboarding sessions
-
Ensure employee files are complete, accurate, and well organized
- Support the recruiting team with seasonal hiring efforts, job fairs, and interview coordination
HR Operations & Administration
-
Maintains various applicant files, and confidentiality of all paperwork and information in Human Resources.

Assist with payroll-related tasks such as data entry, timecard reviews, and follow-ups
-
Support benefits enrollment and employee questions, as needed
-
Help with compliance tracking, audits, and documentation
Employee Relations & Team Support

Serve as a friendly, professional first point of contact for employee questions
- Answers and responds to phone calls and email accurately and professionally.

Assist with employee engagement activities, events, and communications
-
Support the HR Managers with documentation and follow-up related to employee relations matters
-
Help promote a positive, inclusive, and fun workplace culture
Special Projects & Day-to-Day Support
- Operates office machines such as copiers, scanners, voice mail systems, tablets and computers
- Gathers, enters and processes statistical information for various reports.
- Jump in on special projects and general HR support as needed
- Provides guest service according to Enchanted Parks standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Enchanted Parks Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Meets Worlds of Fun attendance requirements as outlined in Enchanted Parks' attendance policies.
- Adheres to Worlds of Fun's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned
What You Bring
- Age requirement: 17 years of age minimum
- Driver's License not required but a bonus

Interest in learning HR processes, employment laws, and people operations

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and HR systems a plus)
-
Clear communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude
-
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
